Attention: For the safety of our staff and customers we now require appointments for viewing of vehicles 24 hours in advance by calling 319-462-1045 1977 Pontiac Trans Am Little did Pontiac know when they created the Trans Am in 1969 they would be creating one of those cars that would set people's hearts racing for several decades and the late 70s TAs were some of the last holdouts of the original Muscle Car era. Although they admittedly weren't as muscular as their predecessors, they did kick butt on the other competition of the day. With a great balance of horsepower, driving manners, and creature comforts they help to usher in the era of Modern Muscle Cars so prevalent today. With the disappointing demise of the Pontiac mark from the GM banner these great looking and fun to drive Trans Ams are becoming the next generation of highly desirable collector cars. Don't miss out on your chance to own one before the market gets so heated up that you will tell your grandkids I had a chance to own one of those once, but I balked and walked. Features Detailed YS coded T/A 6.6 V8 with 4V. Borg Warner T-10 4 speed manual Transmission in full length console, 3:23 Posi Rear End with Rear Stabilizer Bar. Effortless Power Steering, power front disc brakes, with cushion Wrapped Wheel, and Dual color keyed Sport Mirrors, Performance Tuned Dual Exhaust with correct Quad tips. Working Air Conditioning converted to R134a. Functional Shaker Hood with Screaming Eagle Decals with Gothic lettering, Finished in Freshly Buffed and Waxed Mirror Gloss Red. Correct factory bucket seat Interior Trim Package in Black. Full factory Gauge Dash with a 100 mph speedometer showing 62637 (Actual?) miles, Distinctive Quad Headlight Front End with lower Air Dam Correct Aluminum Honeycomb wheels with P235/60R15 Raised White Letter Radials. Gm AM 8 track player in the dash. Factory Fiberglass Rear Deck Spoiler and Body Side Aero Flares Clean and Solid Trunk with Donut Spare , full liner, Jack and Weatherstripping. Here is one fine cruising T/A that looks, runs, and drives like Bandit expects it to.
