You know, I think I would have an impossible time if I ever got to go shell collecting in the Philippines
, I mean really...  just think of it, you're out there picking shell up off of the beach, looking under rocks, snorkeling, scuba diving even, and everywhere you look, you find shells like this!?  And you're not going to try to bring them all home!?  My mom, Ruth Fair took a group to Tahiti to go shell collecting, and what I remember most about her stories when she got back, (besides the photo of just one rock she had turned over, and under it I counted ten
different
cowries!) was the problems they encountered in trying to
clean
what they collected before they had to get back on the plane!  Yep, I think shell collecting would be pretty tough there.

As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that's why so many of the photos of shells on eBay show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!
