    Description

    Here an excellent and what appears to be  unused example the the FISHER space pen. The pen is in great condition. It is still in its original thick blister pack (which has a couple of dents at the bottom of the raised area) with an internal plastic box which holds the pen. So I imagine it was opened and tried, but not carried. I did open it and try it as well and it wrote on the first attempt. The small internal box has a leaflet with models, from which I think the model number for this pen is #SPRSL for the silvertoned finish (probably chrome plated).  Additionally the leaflet contained what appears to be a print date of 06/01 and I assume the pen was produced  about 2001.  The pen is 3-3/4" long and is marked at the base of the cap...   SPACE PEN BY FISHER..USA.
