MAPPA VIRIDIS f. MONTROUZIERI, Dautzenberg, 1903., 69.8mm. NIGER & ROSTRATED
.Nice, dark colored melanistic shell with obvious nigerizm.
Fully mature, heavy with great callus with visible rostration. Gem.
Niger & Rostrated  C. mappa are hard to obtained now and available from old collections only.
Collected by night SCUBA diving on 5 miles reef at 3-5 meters depth off Noumea, New Caledonia,
1985.
