    Description

    Zoila jeaniana aurata , Raybaudi, 1979, 86.6 mm.
    TAIWANESE TRAWLED GIANT.
    Heavy, quarter pounder-106 grams, fully mature shell.
    Nice shape, perfect well developed callus.
    Very rich and attractive coloration on the back. Very good size - 86.6 mm.
    Nice heavy  cream-ivory callus, with pale orange dotting and terminals.
    No chips on terminals no any blisters on the shell.
    There is hardly visible well overglazed growth line on the back. I would rate this shell Gem- just because of this well hidden growth line.
    Live collected by Taiwanese trawlers off Point Maud NW Australia in 1970s.
